124th Annual General Meeting

TAKE NOTICE that an Annual General Meeting of the Members of Ayr Farmers Mutual Insurance Company will be held at the head office of Ayr Farmers Mutual Insurance Company, 1400 Northumberland Street, Ayr, Ontario on the 2nd day of March, 2018 at the hour of 2:00 p.m. for the purposes of:
1. To receive, consider and approve the annual statements for the year ending December 31st, 2017;
2. To appoint auditors for 2018;
3. To approve the amendment to article 20(e) of Bylaw #5 passed by the Directors on April 11, 2017, which adds to section 20(e) that no person shall seek election to fill a vacancy on the Board if he or she seeks election to a three (3) year term, and that his or her notice of intention shall specify if he or she is seeking election to fill the vacancy or the three (3) year term;
4. To elect two directors for a three (3) year term. The members will be asked to elect two Directors for a period of three years, the retiring directors being Cathy Formica and Jason Vernooy. Both are eligible for re-election.

The annual statement will be made available on the website of Ayr Farmers Mutual no later than 21 days prior to the Annual General Meeting. A member may obtain a copy of the annual statement by sending a written request to the head office at least 14 days prior to the Annual General Meeting.
Any person wishing to seek election or re-election as a Director must file their intention to stand for election, in writing, with the Corporate Secretary before 12:00 noon, at least forty five (45) days in advance of the Annual General Meeting.
