To our valued Policyholders:
On Tuesday October 16, 2018 the Canadian Postal Union issued strike notice effective on Monday October 22, 2018 at midnight. They have announced the strikes will be rotating and so all Canadians may experience postal delays starting next week. We will continue to monitor the Canada Post mail disruption, and to ensure that you continue to receive the service you expect from Ayr Farmers Mutual, we will keep you informed of any updates.
At this point, please be sure when sending time-sensitive mailings, such as cheques or claim related documents via Canada Post that you are providing ample lead time for their delivery.
To make certain this disruption doesn’t upset your coverage, we strongly encourage everyone with premiums coming due to avoid sending payments by mail, and to take advantage of some of our other payment options.
Your agent or broker would be happy to help you make alternate arrangements for payment or delivery.
We also have several alternative payment options available that allow you to pay your premium without sending us a cheque by mail:
- Internet or Telephone banking – utilized through your bank
- Cash or Debit – in person at our office
- Cheque or Money Order – in person at our office or with your Agent
- Pre-Authorized Monthly Payment Plan – ask your agent for more details!
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions or for further assistance.
