Hiring annual salary range: $110,000 – $135,000

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide purpose-driven leadership, fostering a team culture of service excellence and genuine member care.
  • Lead, mentor, and coach the Agent Development Coach and Agents to achieve strong sales and business performance, and deliver an exceptional member experience.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top talent while overseeing onboarding, training and development, and regular touchpoints and performance reviews for the agent team.
  • Set and communicate Agent expectations, objectives, and metrics.
  • Measure, monitor and analyze Agent activity and statistical results, meeting with Agents to provide guidance and support continuous improvement.
  • Evaluate and ensure consistency across agent workflows, quality of risk submissions, and marketing campaign execution through ongoing coaching and quality reviews.
  • Report business results and team performance.
  • Work in conjunction with the Manager of Marketing and Communications to develop marketing campaigns to support profitable growth and evaluate donation requests received.
  • As a member of the leadership team, represent the department at management meetings, community events trade shows etc., and contribute as an internal resource across committees and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Champion a safe, compliant, and values-aligned team environment.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Proven leadership experience demonstrating care and mutual values, successful coaching, developing, and motivating teams.
  • Experience in the insurance industry, with knowledge of sales processes, risk quality, and underwriting approaches and workflows.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, building trust and relationships.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales and service data and translate insights into actionable team guidance.
  • Experience managing performance, conducting reviews, and supporting employee development plans.
  • Demonstrated capacity to manage competing priorities and lead a team through change with clarity and care.
  • Commitment to delivering outstanding member and customer experiences.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally and work extended hours as business needs require.
