We were so impressed by their initiatives that we surprised each recipient with the opportunity to select a community charity of their choice to receive a $1,000 donation on behalf of Ayr Farmers Mutual. Scholarship recipient Sophia chose to direct the $1,000 donation to Jessica's House Hospice in Exeter.

Nester (Nick) Kozey has been a home insurance Policyholder with Ayr Farmers Mutual Insurance Company for 35 years. However, this is not the only milestone he is celebrating this year. Nick celebrated his 95th Birthday on January 31, 2022.
Rachel Lund was one of three recipients of a $3,000 scholarship in 2021. Rachel created Over the Billow to help those without someone to talk to feel they are not alone. What's a billow? It is "a large undulating mass of something." The group Over The Billow helps people to overcome the billow of anxiety in their lives.
