Customer Service Representative
Supporting Ayr Farmers Mutual's purpose to care for and support our members and communities to thrive, the Customer Service Representative (also known internally as Member Service Representative) is a key member of the team that keeps our Agents and Policyholders connected.
Working closely with Agents daily, you will directly shape the Policyholder experience, delivering personalized, responsive service across all lines of business and making a meaningful difference in the communities we serve.

Hiring annual salary range: $55,000 – $65,000

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver exceptional customer service to Policyholders and provide day-to-day administrative support to Agents, including quoting assistance.
- Process policy transactions accurately in Guidewire, including new account setup, coverage confirmations, policy updates, and temporary insurance slips.
- Support the renewal process by assisting with renewal preparation and documentation.
- Generate and process invoices accurately and assist with follow up on outstanding accounts receivable to ensure timely payments.
- Collaborate with the Underwriting team to follow up on policy inquiries, prepare renewal memos, and provide support as needed.
- Ensure continuity of service by providing vacation coverage and maintaining compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- College Diploma, or equivalent, in business, or a related field; CIP designation an asset.
- 1 to 3 years of on-the-job experience in a general office, insurance, or customer service environment.
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Intermediate computer skills including proficiency in MS Office.
- Solid mathematical and analytical skills for basic clerical, accounting, and administrative tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgement, interpret policies, and apply problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail with extended periods of concentration.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain performance standards.
- Commitment to confidentiality and compliance with all company policies.
