AFM is a part of the Adopt-A-Road program, where volunteers clean up regional roads by picking up garbage along the roadside. With this program, groups or individuals adopt a section of the roadway and help keep it clean. On October 5th, we rolled our sleeves up, put on high visibility vests, and spread out along Northumberland Street in Ayr to pick up trash.

Update on the claims process after the major Ontario storm that took place on May 21, 2022. Our 2021 scholarship recipients went above and beyond for their communities during a challenging year. We were so impressed by their initiatives that we surprised each recipient with the opportunity to select a community charity of their choice to receive a $1,000 donation on behalf of Ayr Farmers Mutual. Scholarship recipient Sophia chose to direct the $1,000 donation to Jessica's House Hospice in Exeter.
