Ayr Farmers Mutual Insurance Company is seeking a Business Development Coach to join our team of insurance professionals.
About The Position
Reporting to the Manager of Distribution, the Business Development Coach is responsible for developing and facilitating training and support for a growing number of Agents in conjunction with Underwriters and Business Analysts. In addition, this role will be responsible for the development and evaluation of workflows, processes, policies and procedures, and mentoring predominately new Agents. The establishment, and ongoing evaluation of these areas is key to ensure that all external service areas provide accurate and superior service to our Policyholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be an advocate of our culture
- Develop and facilitate Agent training and communications
- Develop workflows, processes, policies and procedures
- Provide mentorship and coaching to Agents
- Support the development, monitoring and adaptation of our Policyholder experience
- Work closely with the Branding and Marketing Coordinator to align branding and marketing strategies and plans for Agents
- Support the completion of quality reviews, identify trends and follow up on gaps and opportunities identified
- Work closely with Manager of Distribution to assist Agents with developing business plans and monitoring results
- Participate at Agent meetings
- Contribute to Agent annual evaluations
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Completion of Post-Secondary education in business/sales
- Completion of CIP, CRM, or equivalent related experience
- 3+ years sales and insurance experience
- Specialized knowledge in a senior technical, professional function, providing strong understanding of underwriting and sales concepts
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of the Guidewire Suites and P&C Insurance is preferred
- Intermediate understanding of accounting/finance, is preferred
- Practical experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Highly collaborative with exceptional verbal and written communication skills
