Melodie Shantz is one of three recipients who received a $3,000 Scholarship in 2021 from Ayr Farmers Mutual Insurance Company. Sophia is a third-year student at the University of Waterloo. For Sophia's application, she told us about her pen pal program to help improve seniors' mental health in her community. Sending letters back and forth has helped make seniors feel less isolated during the pandemic. We are so grateful to have you as part of our community, Sophia!

Stuff A Stocking Donation

Ayr Farmers Mutual Insurance Company came together and stuffed 101 stockings to help 25 families in the Ayr community in conjunction with It Takes a Village Ayr.

Volunteering at Food for Kids!

This September we volunteered at Food for Kids helping to put together meal packages for kids in need. These meal packages are provided to families to help alleviate chronic hunger over the weekend when the kids are not in school. Food4Kids not only helps to bridge the hunger gap, but they provide balanced and nutritious meals throughout our community with the help of their volunteers and partners.
